1.No Mercy (2010)
The very first movie that came to my mind when i thought of creating this list. A pure masterclass. Perfectly crafted script that elevates the movie without losing the rythm. Definitely shocking !

2.Incendies (2010)
From Denis Villeneuve, this movie will guarantee to haunt your feelings for a day or so. I once recommended this movie to my friend and he regretted for watching this movie. A heartbreaking movie, still it should be made into the list of movie with shocking and unpredictable climax.
3.Kahaani (2012)
A very well executed thriller which promises a exhilarating experience and satisfaction of watching a good thriller genre movie. Undoubtedly a mainstream benchmark movie with brilliant climax after Don in indian film industry.
4.Oldboy (2003)
As Bong Joon Ho said “Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films”, Oldboy opened the window for me by introducing korean films. Oldboy is one of the most famous korean film for a reason. It’s bizarre, haunting and heartbreaking but worth the time.
5.Orphan (2009)
Heartwarming Story of a orphaned disciplined innocent modest little girl, whose life gets in vain when she is adopted by a family.
6.Munnariyippu (2014)
Let me just start with the most cliché dialogue of every movie reviewers ” Not everyone’s cup of coffee”. But it surely made me shocked when i just came out of the movie hall.
7.The others (2001)
This movie has a slight resemblance with a very famous movie of all time, still must say it’s worth the watch.
8.The Life of David Gale (2003)
One of the most underrated movie in my personal opinion. Yes, i agree that the incident that forms the backbone of the plot is nothing to be celebrated. Still would recommend it.
9.Buried (2010)
Take a deep breath and watch it. One of the best survival thriller.
10.Sixth sense (1999) & Shutter island (2010)
CLASSIC ! You are termed lucky if you see these movie without knowing anything about it.
